Two events will highlight Maeystown’s Second Saturday and Sunday of July. On July 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors may stroll through the creekside garden of Cathy and Keith Weldon at 1109 Mill Street while enjoying lemonade and music by the creek. This evolving cottage garden is truly a gem. Carl Seavers and Jim Abbott will be featuring dulcimer music during the cottage garden tour. The tour runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with dulcimers from noon to 3 p.m. Seavers and Abbott are favorites at Maeystown’s Old Fashioned Christmas celebration each year. On July 11 at 1:30 p.m., visitors may enjoy a presentation on “Outhouses Past and Present” in the basement of the Preservation Society Mill & Museum.
