The annual Fastnacht pancake and sausage dinner takes place Tuesday, Feb. 25 at St. John United Church of Christ in Maeystown.
The event takes place from 4:30-9 p.m.
This night before Ash Wednesday activity starts with a family style dinner of pancakes, sausage, applesauce and doughnuts and is accompanied by live entertainers providing German music.
In keeping with German tradition, children will dress in costume and go “grebbling” door-to-door to collect doughnuts, then come back to win votes in a costume contest.
Grebbling starts at 5 p.m. in front of the church.
