The annual Helping Strays Poultry and Pilsner dinner dance fundraiser is Nov. 4 at Turner Hall, 211 E. Cherry Street, Columbia. Doors open at 6 p.m., with dinner served 6:30-7:30 p.m. The Eric Prewitt Band begins playing music at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $30 per ticket, and proceeds benefit the Helping Strays Pet-In-Need program.
