The Waterloo Lions Drive-By Food Drive is this Saturday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Rural King parking lot, 740 N. Market Street in Waterloo. Food needed in small portions include: whole and diced tomatoes, Rotel, tomato sauce and paste, Manwich, ravioli, Beef-a-Roni, chili, canned chicken, roast beef stew and gravy, canned fruit and vegetables, chips, snacks, pudding, Jell-O and small bags of flour and sugar. Also needed are Clorox wipes and cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels toothpaste, deodorant, laundry and dish soap, shampoo and conditioner.
