Firebird Fest, the largest all-Pontiac Firebird show in the Midwest, visits Waterloo this Saturday, May 21, from noon to 5 p.m.

A special Firebird Parade will roll into town at about 11:30 a.m., with more than 200 Pontiac Firebirds expected along the Monroe County Courthouse square.

Buford and Bandit re-enactors from the famous movie “Smokey and The Bandit” will be on hand, and KSHE 95 will have a live radio broadcast on site.

There will also be food and vendor booths.

Firebird Fest includes events over four days throughout the St. Louis area and serves as a fundraiser for Kids Rock Cancer.
