Columbia, Waterloo cheerleaders win ICCA trophies

The cheerleading squads from Columbia and Waterloo high schools earned first place trophies in their respective divisions at the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association Championships on Saturday in Springfield.

The CHS varsity cheerleaders coached by Robbie Walters placed first in the medium varsity category.

The WHS varsity cheerleaders coached by Amber Hensiek placed first in the coed varsity category.

The WJHS cheerleaders placed fourth out of 23 teams.
