Columbia softball pitcher Brianna Weilbacher, is the Republic-Times Athlete of the Week! She threw a no-hitter and hit a solo home run Saturday against Centralia in her team’s 1-0 sectional championship win. Weilbacher, who will play for Iowa State next season, finished her senior season with a 29-2 record on the mound and 17 shutouts along with a .505 average and 15 home runs at the plate.

Weilbacher threw four no-hitters this spring and had nine one-hitters.
