Color of Autumn Workshop

Fall is a great time to enjoy the outdoors.
Even though the days are getting shorter and the nights are cooler, gardens are still very active.
Come and learn more about fall gardening activities at the Color of Autumn Workshop on Sept. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Monroe County Annex, 901 Illinois Avenue, Waterloo.
This event is hosted by the University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners.
The program includes a presentation on pollinator pocket gardens and fall lawn and landscape tasks.
Other topics include caring for houseplants, hiking local trails, creating a garden stake and caring for trees.
Space is limited for some of the sessions.
Registration is $10. Refreshments are included.
