The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Columbia High School soccer standout Alaina Rains. The sophomore forward has already scored five goals and recorded two assists in Columbia’s first three games of the 2026 season. Rains was a key member of last year’s state title Eagles girls soccer squad as a freshman.
