Columbia American Legion Post 581 hosts its annual Veterans Day service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, inside its hall located at 375 E. Locust Street.

There will be patriotic music selections performed by the Belleville Community Band, thoughts and remembrances shared by Unit 581 Auxiliary President Clara Schaefer and Sons of the American Legion Squadron 581 Commander Mike Nowak, and a special presentation by Post 581 program co-chair John Conrad.
Refreshments will be served following the program.

Prairie Du Pont American Legion Post 485 in Dupo and Chief Pontiac VFW Post 1699 in Cahokia invite the public to its annual Veterans Day service this coming Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. inside Post 485, 200 S. 5th Street in Dupo.
