Songs4Soldiers is the organization that just keeps on giving.

Thanks to money raised during a September 2013 concert in Columbia, the organization was able to help its third veteran, Mathew Schlosser.

Schlosser, a retired Special Forces veteran from House Spring, Mo., has been unemployed since 2008 and suffers from severe PTSD.

Schlosser said the thing Songs4Soldiers could help him with most was dental work, so the organization was able to help with funding for a new set of dentures from Dr. Kevin Devine, D.M.D.

One other veteran will be chosen to receive funding from Songs4Soldiers in the near future.

Those interested in submitting a candidate for assistance from this organization can visit online at www.songs4soldiersstl.org and fill out an application.

This year’s Songs4Soldiers concert will take place Sept. 6.
