Lawrence V. Schneider | Obituary

Lawrence V. Schneider, 93, of Waterloo, died Nov. 15, 2015, in Belleville.

He was born Aug. 5, 1922, in Waterloo, son of the late Joseph and Lena Schneider (nee Marquardt).

Lawrence was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. He was formerly employed at Columbia Quarry in Valmeyer and was a past farmer. He was an animal lover – especially dogs and horses.

He is survived by his wife Bernice Schneider (nee Weber); children Larry Schneider (Donna Burle), Nancy (Dennis) Nobbe, and Paul (Debbie) Schneider; grandchildren Michael and Bradley Schneider, Bill and Matt Nobbe, and Ashley and Madison Schneider; brothers Jerome Schneider, and Elmer (Vera) Schneider; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Syl and Leona Biffar, and Marsha Weber; along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Agnes, Rosella and Dorothy.

Visitation and funeral services were Nov. 18, at Quernheim Funeral Home, with Father Osang Idagbo C.M. officiating.

Interment followed at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery,  Waterloo.
