The Columbia High School girls softball team is this week’s Republic-Times Team of the Week.

The Eagles have only lost one game this season thus far and are currently on an 11-game win streak, following a 10-0 win Tuesday night over Freeburg.

CHS is ranked No. 4 among small schools in the STLToday poll and has defeated large schools like Belleville East — who is ranked No.5 among large schools in the Metro area.

The Lady Eagles have outscored their opponents 144-31 so far this season. Of their 13 games, CHS has managed to produce a shutout six times.

Good luck Eagles and keep up the good work!
