The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Columbia High School softball team.
They went 3-0 after Wednesday’s huge 6-0 win over Belleville West. Adding to their impressive kick-off to the season, Columbia easily swept a doubleheader against Piasa Southwestern last Saturday.
The Eagles were to host Mascoutah on Thursday but the game was canceled due to weather conditions.
