Blayne A. Woodcock

Blayne A. Woodcock, 51 of Warsaw, Ind., died May 16, 2016, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Ind.

He was born Sept. 14, 1964, in Belleville, son of Gerald and Carol Woodcock (Ripplemeyer).

He was united in marriage on March 15, 1997, to Christy Pennington in Pierceton, Ind.

He was a truck driver for 27 years and worked for Metzger Trucking.

Blayne loved to participate in demolition derbies with his children and won several trophies.

He is survived by his wife, Christy Woodcock of Warsaw, Ind.; his children, Zach, Josh and Breanna Woodcock, all of Warsaw, Ind.; his sister, Jody Woodcock of Waterloo; a grandson, Noah “Papaws boy” Woodcock of Warsaw, Ind.; two brothers-in-law, “JR” (Deb) Pennington of Winona Lake, Ind., and Jake Pennington of Jacksonville, Fla.; his parents, Gerald and Carol Woodcock of Waterloo; mother- and father-in-law, Charles and Judy Pennington of Warsaw, Ind.; and his paternal grandmother, Lena Woodcock of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and his maternal grandparents.

A memorial service was held May 21, at Gods Highway to Heaven Church, Reverend Robert Brown officiating.

No burial is planned.
