Aleda M. Keim (nee Brandt), 96, formerly of Columbia, died Sept. 20, 2015, at the Cuba Manor Care Center, Cuba, Mo.

She was born April 12, 1919, in Columbia, daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Brandt (nee Eckert).

She married LeRoy “Pete” Keim on June 24, 1944; he preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1995.

Aleda had been a past member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, and the Columbia Gymnastic Association Auxiliary.

Surviving are her daughter, Donna Wagner of Rolla, Mo.; grandchildren Angela (Scott) Nichols of Ballwin, Mo., and Kevin (Trudy) Wagner of Hillard, Ohio; great-grandchildren Katlyn, Abigail and Justin Wagner, and Sydney and Taryn Nichols; along with nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her sister Priscilla Huch.

Visitation is Friday, Sept. 25, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Lawlor Funeral Home, Columbia.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 26, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with Pastor Kristofer Avise-Rouse officiating.

Interment will follow at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery, Waterloo.
