Quinten Albrecht

Quinten Albrecht, who enjoyed a standout senior season with the Waterloo High School baseball team this spring, was just named to the Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association Class 3A All-State Team.

Albrecht, who will play ball at Wichita State University next season, ranked ninth in the St. Louis area with a .505 batting average for the Bulldogs. The left-handed-hitting Albrecht also ranked fifth in the area in slugging percentage (.905) and seventh in both on base percentage (.615) and doubles (15). He hit seven home runs with 35 runs and 35 RBIs and was an all-conference selection in the Mississippi Valley Conference.

Albrecht collected 100 varsity hits over four seasons at WHS while playing rock solid defense behind the plate.
