The Waterloo Police Department is investigating three reports of thefts from motor vehicles that occurred recently in the areas of Louise Lane, Rachael Drive and Washington Street.

All three vehicles were parked in the street and left unlocked, Waterloo Police Chief Jim Trantham said. Among the items taken were cash and personal property.

Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to contact the WPD at 939-3377. Trantham also urged residents to lock the doors of their vehicles.
