Stanley R. Hoffmann, 67, of Waterloo, died Aug. 17, 2015, in Waterloo.

He was born March 7, 1948, in Waterloo, son of the late Otto L. and Irma I. Hoffmann (nee Mueller).

Stanley was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Maeystown. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was a member of Metzger-Crook VFW Post 6504.

He was a retired farmer and Farm Bureau member.

He is survived by his cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m., Aug. 21, and 9 to 10 a.m., Aug. 22, at Quernheim Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Aug. 22, at the funeral home., with Pastor Patrick Poole officiating.
Interment will follow at  Waterloo Cemetery, Waterloo.
