St. Louis County PD chase motorcycle driver to Columbia

Early Wednesday afternoon, a St. Louis County police officer attempted to stop a motorcycle on I-255 near the JB Bridge. The driver fled from the officer, took the Route 3 exit and then exited onto Palmer Road in Columbia. The driver of the motorcycle then proceeded to get back onto Route 3 southbound to Veterans Parkway. When the driver arrived at Veterans Parkway, he then dumped the motorcycle behind Bellson Animal hospital and fled on foot.

The officer located the suspect by an apartment complex behind the Columbia Schnucks, where he continued to flee the officer. Eventually, the officer was able to subdue him with the use of a Taser in the area behind Schnucks.

This accident occurred while the CPD were responding to a three-car accident with injuries at Route 3 and Eagle Drive.

The suspect, a Missouri resident, had three felony warrants for his arrest. He was transported to St. Anthony’s hospital by the Monroe County EMS. A St. Louis County police officer escorted them to St. Anthony’s.
