The Waterloo Fire Department, Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and Monroe County EMS responded shortly before 2:30 p.m. Thursday to a single-vehicle rollover crash with entrapment at 3373 State Route 156 near Mystic Lane west of Waterloo.

The driver of the Chevy Blazer, a 17-year-old female, was safely extricated from the vehicle — which came to rest on its side against a tree — by Waterloo firefighters and checked on by EMS personnel. She was not injured in the crash. Police believe a combination of speed and slick roads from recent rain contributed to the crash.
