Sharon L. Quernheim, nee Walter, 78, of Waterloo, died Sept. 3, 2014 in St. Louis.

She was born June 29, 1936, daughter of the late A. Thomas and Irene K. Walter, nee Scher.

She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Waterloo and Eastern Star.

Mrs. Quernheim is survived by children Todd (Tracy) Quernheim, Sheila (Job) Sandoval; grandchildren Alexander, Benjamin and Andrew Quernheim and Tyler and Shane Sandoval; aunt Ruthie Becker, along with cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul A. Quernheim.

Visitation will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 5 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo and 9 to 10 a.m. Sept. 6 at St. Paul UCC in Waterloo.

A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Sept. 6 at the church.

Interment will follow at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo.
