Rollover crash east of Waterloo

Emergency personnel responded at about 11:20 p.m. Thursday to a report of a single vehicle rollover crash in the area of 6414 Edgewater Drive near Route 156 east of Waterloo. Firefighters were called out initially for possible entrapment but were soon canceled. There was reported to be water on the roadway due to heavy rain, according to emergency radio dispatch.

No medical transport was required.

This was the second such crash in the area of Route 156 and Edgewater on Thursday night. Earlier in the evening, Neal Rohlfing, Republican candidate for Monroe County Sheriff, hydroplaned on standing water on the roadway in his pickup truck, resulting in a non-injury crash.
