Columbia Police
Aug. 31
Anthony Q. Mitchell of Waterloo was arrested on an in-state warrant on Bluff Road.
Sept. 2
Tehran Hinkle, 66, of Florissant, Mo., was arrested for DUI (drugs), improper lane usage and violating the minimum speed limit.
Sept. 3
Jesse R. Valerius, 32, of Belleville, was arrested for DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and following too closely on Route 3 southbound at Hill Top Drive.
David R. Sherrell, 33, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI and illegal transportation of alcohol on Route 3 southbound at Hill Top Drive.
Sept. 4
Tyler A. Beel, 27, of East Carondelet, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant at Red Roof Liquor & Lottery, 301 Southport Drive.

Monroe County Sheriff
Aug. 30
A 17-year-old Waterloo woman was transported to Red Bud Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained when her Toyota Camry went off the road due to wet pavement in the area of Route 156 and Old Baum Church Road about 3:25 p.m. and struck an embankment.
Deputies are investigating the theft of a white/light brown Siberian Husky that was penned in the side deck area of a home in the area of 5200 State Route 156. The theft is alleged to have occurred between 2 a.m. and noon.
Aug. 31
A report of threats made on a bus transporting students from Career Center of Southern Illinois (formerly Beck) to the Waterloo Walmart is under investigation.
Sept. 2
Robert Condor of Red Bud was arrested on a Randolph County warrant on LL Road.

Waterloo Police
Aug. 30
Charges are pending in the theft of a wallet that contained cash and other valuables from a car parked at Fast Stop.
Aug. 31
Ronald Miller, 48, of Waterloo, was issued a city ordinance violation for public fighting in the Walmart parking lot.
Norman Watts, 32, of Belleville, was arrested for retail theft at Walmart. He is alleged to have taken shoes, cologne and a watch from the store.
Sept. 4
Destiny Silkwood, 20, of St. Louis, was arrested for domestic battery in the Walmart parking lot, after she allegedly threw a cell phone at Tobey Oliver, 22, of Clarksville, Tenn., and punched him in the arm. Oliver was issued a city ordinance violation for public fighting.
