Columbia Police
Aug. 24
A juvenile was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia on I-255 northbound at mile post 7.
Aug. 30
Michael B. Mulholland, 30, of Imperial, Mo., was arrested for DUI, no insurance, no taillights and driving while license revoked.
Aug. 31
Daniel L. Nesbitt, 38, of St. Louis, was arrested for DUI, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance and failure to wear seat belt on Route 3 at Sand Bank Road.

Illinois State Police
Aug. 25
Columbia Fire Department personnel joined police and EMS agencies in responding to a vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 255 about 10:45 p.m. A fire official said a car drove into the rear of a semi-tractor-trailer. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Monroe County Sheriff
Aug. 18
Robert D. Lange of St. Charles, Mo., was arrested on a warrant.
Aug. 22
A two-car crash occurred on Route 158 at Campbell Drive in Columbia about 9:25 p.m. The cars involved were driven by Wilbur G. Ludwig, 78, of Columbia, and Kelly K. Oldfield, 49, of Millstadt. Ludwig was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. He was cited for failure to yield in the crash.
Aug. 24
A resident on State Route 158 reported that someone forged three checks that were cashed in California. The matter is under investigation.
Aug. 27
Deputies were called to the area of 3000 G Road just north of Renault after someone discovered an ATV stuck in a ravine. Police determined that the ATV was reported stolen out of Randolph County in April. The ATV had been re-painted and it appeared that it had been stuck in the ravine for some time. The Randolph County Sheriff’s Department was notified of the recovered item.
Aug. 28
Adam Perjak of Waterloo was arrested on a warrant.

Waterloo Police
Aug. 25
Duncan Kremmel, 20, of Columbia, was arrested for a Monroe County traffic warrant on North Market Street at Covington Drive.
Donna Powell, 46, of Waterloo, was arrested on a city ordinance violation for begging in the 300 block of Flower Street.
