Columbia Police
Feb. 29
Richard B. Salas, 26, of St. Louis, was arrested for obstructing identification and on a Monroe County warrant in the 900 block of High Ridge Drive.
March 1
Erik N. Rhines, 23, of Belleville, was arrested on a fugitive from justice out-of-state warrant and for unlawful possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia on Admiral Parkway at Veterans Parkway.
March 4
Tyler Ray “Skip” Kenner, 22, of Cahokia, faces charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe following an arrest during a traffic stop on Route 3 at Gilmore Lake Road.
Columbia police are urging the community to be on alert and report suspicious activity following multiple reports of windows being smashed out of vehicles around town. Over the past week, four such incidents have been reported in Columbia, all taking place during the evening. The incidents have taken place on Hickory Lane, Ghent Road, North Main Street and East Legion Street, police said. Nothing was reported missing from the damaged vehicles, police added. Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to contact the CPD at 281-5151.
March 5
Sherry L. Schanuel, 49, of Cahokia, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant on I-255 northbound.
March 6
Dimitri T. Hayes, 23, of Waterloo, was arrested on three Monroe County failure to appear warrants at Tiny’s, 602 N. Main Street.
Gregory J. Lammert, 49, was arrested for DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage on Route 3 northbound at Veterans Parkway.
Derek J. Done, 30, of Columbia, was arrested for assault after allegedly threatening a woman. He was also cited for public intoxication on Columbia Lakes Drive.
Austin J. Oxendine, 19, of Waterloo, was charged with battery following a Feb. 6 incident at McDonald’s, 300 Columbia Centre.

Monroe County Sheriff
March 2
Bailey R. Langhorst, 23, of Fults, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis (more than 2.5 grams but less than 10 grams), possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia following a Jan. 31 incident.
March 7
The reported theft of items from a garage in the 200 block of East Lincoln Street in Hecker is under investigation.

Waterloo Police
March 4
Laura Dietz, 48, of Waterloo, was arrested for unlawful possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and no insurance on East Fourth Street at Osterhage Drive.
