Kimberly L. Strong

Kimberly L. Strong (nee Baxmeyer), 53, of Waterloo, died April 19, 2016, in St. Louis.

She was born Feb. 27, 1963, in Belleville, daughter of K. Richard “Boxy” Baxmeyer and the late Judith Reichling Benne.

Kimberly was employed at Baxmeyer Construction Co.

She is survived by her husband Roger D. Strong; children Nathan Strong, Nicole Strong and Kelli Strong; grandchildren Ayla Strong, Alyvia Strong and Maverick Strong; her father; brothers Jim Baxmeyer, David (Valerie) Baxmeyer, Jim Pagliai, John Baxmeyer and Dennis (Heather) Baxmeyer; mother-in-law Virginia Strong; and sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, step-mother Carol Baxmeyer, father-in-law Robert Strong, sister-in-law Kathy Baxmeyer and nephew Kadin Baxmeyer.

A memorial visitation is April 21, from 4 to 8 p.m., and April 11, from 9 to 10 a.m., at Hope Christian Church.

A memorial service will be April 22, at 10 a.m., at the church, Pastor Darrell Jones officiating.

As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to the Waterloo High School Wellness Fund.
