Jacqueline “Jackie” Hern, nee Bazzel, 75, of Belleville, died March 31, 2013, in Belleville.

She was born Feb. 27, 1938, in St. Louis, daughter of the late William R. and Bessie E. (nee Cagle) Bazzel.

Hern worked as an administrator for Rosewood Care Center.
Survivors include children Patricia (Craig) Dye, Jeffrey (Chris) Hern, Angela (Mark) Donaldson and Timothy Hern; grandchildren Derek (Nikki) Reitz, Jayde Reitz, Zach (Becca) Hern, Bryan Hern, Beau Donaldson, Jenna Hern, and Thomas Hern; and great-grandchildren Randi Reitz, Levi Reitz, Aryan Reitz and Justin Reitz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Harry R. Hern and grandson Jerod Reitz.

Visitation is set for 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday, April 6, at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo. Funeral services take place 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Fults.
