St. John UCC and St. Mary Catholic Church in Valmeyer are sponsoring a Fall Church Picnic Sunday, Sept. 15 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Music will go all day with Pickin’ Chicks from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., George Portz from 1-3 p.m., Bud Light Brigade from 3-4 p.m. and Sofa Kings from 4-6 p.m. A cash and quilt bingo will be from 1-4 p.m. Indoor seating available for fried chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, homemade sides, beer and soda. There will also be games for kids and adults as well as a country store, raffles, silent auction and attendance prizes.
