St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher is celebrating its 300th anniversary this Saturday, Aug. 7 from 3-11 p.m. at the church and picnic grounds, 802 Middle Street. A chicken dinner will be served from 3-7:30 p.m. outside or in the air-conditioned church hall. Carry-outs will also be available. Bishop Michael McGovern will officiate Mass at 4 p.m. Cash and quilt bingo begins at 5 p.m. There will also be beer, lunch and basket stands, crafts, raffles, laser tag, rides, games, sno-cones, a country store and more.
