Hosted by the Columbia Volunteer Fire Department, a benefit mouse races and auction for Columbia Police Department officer Jared Reddick takes place this Saturday, Jan. 11 at Turner Hall in Columbia.
Reddick was recently diagnosed with sarcoma and is undergoing chemotherapy.
Doors open at 6 p.m., with the races starting at 7 p.m.
Admission is $25, which includes draft beer and soda. Attendees may bring their own snacks.
