Memorial Day ceremonies will take place Monday in Waterloo, Hecker, Columbia, Valmeyer and Dupo. 

The program in Valmeyer begins at 10 a.m. outside the Post 901 American Legion Hall. 

In Hecker, the service begins at 10 a.m. on the St. Augustine Cemetery grounds. 

The program in Waterloo begins at 11 a.m. on the Monroe County Courthouse grounds. 

In Columbia, the program begins at 11 a.m. inside the Post 581 American Legion Hall.

American Legion Prairie Du Pont Post 485 in Dupo and Chief Pontiac VFW Post 1699 in Cahokia will present a Memorial Day service at 11 a.m. at Post 485, 200 S. 5th Street in Dupo.
