The annual Maeystown Spring Art Show takes place March 23-24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day in the Preservation Society Mill and other village buildings.

The featured artists this year are Waterloo native Tim Schrieber, Kelli Hedinger and the late Fannie Sue Schellhardt.

Schrieber’s works use vibrant and expressive watercolors. He also does commissioned works primarily of pet and home portraits. Hedinger uses words and wood in her work. Her works are perfect for customized gifts and decor. Schellhardt resided outside Maeystown and was a teacher in Waterloo for 38 years. She enjoyed working with watercolor, oil on canvas, pencil and ink.
