A meat shoot to benefit the Valmeyer Lakers baseball team of the Mon-Clair League takes place this Sunday, Oct. 28, at Fountain Inn, located at 1912 Fountain Road off Bluff Road near Valmeyer.

The event takes place at noon, with mulligan stew available.
