The Knights of Columbus will have Friday fish frys March 10, 17, 24 and 31 at St. Mary’s Parish Center, 116 W. Woodland Ridge in Valmeyer. Cod or shrimp plates with homemade sides will be served from 4-7:30 p.m.

The Waterloo VFW, 406 Veterans Drive, has Lenten specials from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each Friday. In addition to fish plates and sandwiches, bulk fried fish orders for cod, catfish, walleye and shrimp of a half pound, one pound and 1.5 pound are available. Lent specials continue at Annbriar Smokehouse Restaurant in Waterloo from 4-8 p.m. Fridays through April 7. The fish buffet features cod, pollock, Jack salmon and catfish along with a variety of sides. The regular menu is not available during buffet hours.
