An electronics recycling event takes place this Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Monroe County Fairgrounds, 4177 State Route 156, Waterloo.

People from all towns are welcome.

There is no charge for computers, DVD players, laptops, microwaves, small appliances, exercise equipment, grills, lawn mowers, AC units, dehumidifiers, washing machines, dryers, stoves, cell phones, bikes, car and truck batteries, electric wires, plugs or charger adapters.

Fees will be charged for tube computer monitors, tube TVs, projector TVs and flat screen TVs.
