There will be a dedication for the Eagle Cliff Prairie Nature Preserve on Oct. 19 at 10 a.m, in front of the mausoleum at Eagle Cliff-Miles Cemetery, located at 7747 D Road in Waterloo. A bronze sign will be placed in front of the prairie in recognition of the work done in the area. The public is invited to attend the event, which will include cemetery trustees, nature preserve commissioners, county commissioners and a nature preserve specialist from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
