The Columbia Public Library “Reading Colors Your World” summer reading program runs from June 1 through July 21. The Friends of the Library are hosting a kick off and early registration during a book sale May 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a $4 per bag of books sale and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with $2 per bag of books. Sammy J Balloons will be on hand May 22 with balloon creations for attendees.
