An 18th century Cannon Demonstration will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 7, hosted by members of the French Colonial Artillery at Fort de Chartres to explain the 18th century history of artillery. They will demonstrate the techniques used to fire a cannon and will explain the role that artillery played at Fort de Chartres.
