Jen and Desh Nandedkar of New York, N.Y., announce the birth of their daughter, Eva Lakshmi Nandedkar.

She was born Feb. 5, 2016, at Mt. Sinai West, New York.

She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces.

Her maternal grandparents are Joseph and Carolyn Sabo. Paternal grandparents are Sanjeev and Anjali Nandedkar.

Her great-grandparents are Madhumalati and the late Dattatreya Nandedkar of Mumbai, India; the late Narayan and Mangala Dadhe of Pune, India; Bob and Janet Schneider of Waterloo; and Frank and the late Sally Sabo of Caseyville.
