Emilie Eggemeyer of Springfield and Douglas Land of Decatur have announced their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lee and Karen Eggemeyer of Waterloo.

She is a graduate of Waterloo High School, Southeast Missouri State University and Ball State University.

She is employed as an architectural historian for the Illinois Department of Transportation.

The groom-to-be is the son of Janis Land of Bourbonnais.

He is a graduate of Milliken University in Decatur and is employed as a support analyst for Archer Daniels and Midland (ADM) in Decatur.

They are planning a May 2, 2015 wedding.
