Dennis K. Williamson

Dennis K. Williamson, 63, of Waterloo, formerly of Cahokia, died June 1, 2014, in Waterloo.

He was born April 15, 1951, son of Phyllis and the late Lawrence Williamson.

Dennis was a member of Masonic Lodge Emeth 1030 Cahokia and was employed at Yellow Freight for 34 years.

He is survived by wife Diane Williamson; daughters Kimberly (Todd) Jones and Stacy Taylor; grandchildren Austin Jones and Derek and Landon Taylor; mother Phillis Williamson; brother Richard (Rita) Williamson and sister Barbara Bugsch, along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, brother Larry Williamson, father-in-law and mother-in-law Russell and June Miller.

Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. June 5 and 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. June 6 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

A funeral Mass will take place 10 a.m. June 6 at St. Patrick Church in Tipton.

Interment will follow at Valhalla Cemetery in Belleville.

Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Church in Tipton.
