Delores V. Rubemeyer | Obituary

Delores V. Rubemeyer (nee Dehne), 77, of Waterloo, died Oct. 31, 2015, in Waterloo.

She was born March 23, 1938, in Fults, daughter of the late Arthur and Wilhelmina E. Dehne (nee Koch).

Delores was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waterloo. She volunteered at Nice Twice Resale Shop and retired from Monroe County Nursing Home.

She is survived by her children Laura Mehard (special friend Scott Jantho)  and Mitchell (Dawn) Rubemeyer; son-in-law Brian Luhr; grandchildren Carrie, Lauren, Carli, LeAnne, Cameron, Alexander, Kyle and Chase; great-grandchild Tallas Wayne Langhorst; sister Alvera Jacobs; sister-in-law Mary Giglotto; brother-in-law Roger Rubemeyer; special friend Frederick Meister; and  nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Charles Henke, husband Ronald W. Rubemeyer, daughters Christy Langhorst and Tracey Luhr.

Visitation and funeral services were Nov. 2, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waterloo, with Vicar Merritt Demski officiating.

Interment followed at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery, Waterloo.

As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Family Emergency Fund.
