Dean R. Rippelmeyer | Obituary

Dean R. Rippelmeyer, 58, of Waterloo, died Jan. 16, 2013, in St. Louis.

He was born Feb. 20, 1954, in Red Bud, son of the late Floyd and Marzella (nee Mueller) Rippelmeyer.

He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, and was an employee of Wm. Nobbe & Co. John Deere.

Survivors include wife Janet Rippelmeyer (nee Cronk); son Matthew (wife Victoria); granddaughter Samantha; brother Fayegene (Rayma) Rippelmeyer; sister Joan Esker; along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by brother Nolan Rippelmeyer and uncle John Rippelmeyer.

Visitation was Jan. 18 at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo, and Jan. 19 at St. John United Church of Christ, Maeystown.

Funeral services were held Jan. 19 at the church, Pastor Patrick Poole officiating.

Burial was at Monroe City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Helping Strays-Humane Society of Monroe County, or to the March of Dimes.
