The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and Waterloo police were put on alert for a red Buick LaCrosse that was apparently driven off the Weir auto dealership lot in Red Bud shortly before noon on Friday.

The driver is  believed to be a Columbia woman, but the direction of travel was unknown. The suspected driver has two counts of aggravated assault on her criminal record.
