Bernice T. Riess, nee Huttrop, 90, died March 5, 2015 in St. Louis, Mo.

She was born Oct. 30, 1924 in Kirkwood, Mo., daughter of the late Leo and Mamie Huttrop, nee Hunkler.

She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Ronald Riess, Dennis (Patricia) Riess and Nancy (Paul Adams) Kelly; grandchildren, Nikki (Craig) Knoth, Lindsay (Sean Kennedy) Riess, and Matthew Kelly; great-grandchildren, Zoie Knoth and Claire Knoth; sisters, Shirley (Dale) Ferrington, Lorretta Keelor, along with several nieces, nephews  family and friends.

Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer R. Riess and her parents

Private services will take place at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Helping Strays, the Humane Society of Monroe County or to the De Greeff Hospice House.
