Young-Everding

Jennifer Young of Baton Rouge, La., and Matthew Everding of Columbia were married March 21, 2015, on the banks of the Deschutes River in Bend, Ore.

The simple and elegant ceremony was witnessed by the immediate families of the bride and groom.

The bride is the daughter of Alan and Karen Young of Baton Rouge, La. She has a brother, Alex, also of Baton Rouge, La.

The groom is the son of Raymond and Vicki Everding of Columbia. He has two brothers, Michael of Houston, Texas, and Daniel of Broomfield, Colo.

Both the bride and groom are veterans of the United States Marine Corps.

The bride is currently enrolled at the University of South Dakota in an online program for addiction studies. The groom is currently enrolled at Central Oregon Community College, where he is obtaining an associates degree in aviation management as well as obtaining his commercial helicopter pilot license.

The couple enjoyed a Mediterranean cruise for their honeymoon.  They currently reside in Bend, Ore.
