The Waterloo High School girls soccer team coached by Chad Holden is this week’s Republic-Times Team of the Week. The Bulldogs improved to 7-1 on the spring with a 2-0 win over Freeburg on Monday. Scoring goals for Waterloo were Sydney Luedeman and Dani Maurer. The Bulldogs have also notched victories this season against Columbia, Gibault, O’Fallon and Marquette heading into Tuesday’s contest against conference rival Triad.

Waterloo lost to Triad, 3-1, and is now 7-2 on the season.
