Waterloo Jr. High girls cross country take 2nd at state

The Waterloo Jr. High cross country teams had an impressive outing at the SIJHSAA state meet on Saturday at Benton.

The girls took home the second place trophy with the Bulldog’s Grace Nugent leading the team with a 7th place finish, followed by teammate Jenna Schwartz who finished 8th. The Bulldog boys came in 7th place. Jake Schwartz had a fantastic meet, taking first at state.
