Waterloo girls golf team takes Wednesday’s match

Waterloo High School sophomore Kaitlyn Storm led Waterloo (2-0) to their second victory of the season with her team low of 42 at Waterloo’s home course, Mystic Oak Golf Course on Wednesday.

“Congratulations on a great start,” said Waterloo coach Dave Stites. “Let’s keep the ball rolling.”

The bulldogs carded a team score of 191, beating Collinsville by six strokes, with Roxana trailing with a team score of 205.

Other low scores for Waterloo included: Kiersten Belt, jr.,45, Abbie Whitehead, sr., 47 and Whitney Stitzel, sr., 49.

Wednesday 8/22 vs. Civic Memorial and Alton in Waterloo at Mystic Oak
